Blood For Roses

A site-specific performance at Gamlebyen graveyard in Oslo

Premiere: June 12, 2014 at 19:00
Following shows: June 13-15 and 19-22, 2014

Biologist Jens Haga leads you through the graveyard. He’s visible, hidden, omnipresent; just like the flora and fauna. From within your headphones, his voice speaks of the mystery of life - how it appeared, and how hard it is to tell what’s alive and what’s dead in a cemetery.

The performance is the result of the collaboration with biologist Jens Haga, three performers and local cemetery employees. Composer Jessica Sligter and visual artist Jennie Hagevik Bringaker is also contributing. Noplace is host and provides ’gravøl’ (funeral beer) after the performances.

The premiere takes place on June 12 at 19:00.
Shows follows on June 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22 2014, at 19.00 and 21:00.
On June 21 both performances are performed in English.

Meetingpoint: Noplace, Oslo gate 2B.
Tickets can also be bought cash in hand at Noplace half an hour before the show starts (NB. Only 20 tickets per show available!).
